Mud Hens lose 7-1 to Charlotte
6/1/2014The Mud Hens suffered a 7-1 loss to Charlotte at Fifth Third Field tonight.
Toledo finished with just three hits in the contest but also failed to take advantage of eight walks and a hit batsman by Knights starter Erik Johnson.
Meanwhile Charlotte scored three times in the second and two more in the third off Hens starter Robbie Ray. The Knights, who also scored twice in the eighth off Toledo reliever Melvin Mercedes, finished with 16 hits.
