Lynyrd Skynyrd to perform

Lynyrd Skynyrd brings its Vicious Cycle Tour to the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $39.50 and $49.50 from the box office, 419-381-8851, and Ticketmaster.

Stomp, the troupe that uses anything to make music, including garbage cans, returns to the theater Friday-Sunday. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Friday, 5 and 9 p.m. Saturday, and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets ranges from $36-$43.

The Village Players opens One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Friday in the theater at 2740 Upton Ave. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturdays through March 20 and 2 p.m. March 14. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students and seniors from the box office, 419-472-6817.

Stone Cross Ministries is sponsoring a "A Night of Smiles" dinner with Judge Ken Johnson, former Indiana Supreme Court justice, as speaker. Indie bands the Penetration and Wide Awake will be in concert at 10 p.m. tomorrow in Mickey Finn's Pub, 602 Lagrange St.; cover is $4. The Celtic rock band Seven Nations returns at 9:30 p.m. Friday; tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

The Wexner Center at Ohio State University in Columbus is accepting entries through March 26 for its ninth annual Ohio Short Film & Video Showcase. My Way, a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra, will be staged at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the River Raisin Centre for the Arts, 114 South Monroe St., Monroe.
