George Jones slated at Stranahan

Country music legend George Jones will be in concert at 8 p.m. Friday in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. Tickets are $41.50 from the box office, 419-381-8851, and Ticketmaster, 419-474-1333.

Tickets are on sale for the Ultimate Doo-Wop Show, to be staged May 1 in the theater. The 7 p.m. show will feature Jack Scott, Maurice Williams & the Zodiacs, the Spaniels, the Edsels, the Marcels, Kathy Young, Shades of Blue, the Magnificents, the Eldoradoes, Stormy Weathers, and Daddy G & the Church Street Five.
