Valentine announces lineup for 2004-2005

The Valentine Theatre has announced its 2004-2005 event schedule, with Broadway, Sentimental Journey, Smooth Jazz and Soul, Children's, and International series.

Vienna Choir Boys, Dec. 3. Christmas concert.

St. Petersburg Ballet, Jan. 12, 2005. Romeo and Juliet.

National Acrobats of Taiwan, March 15.

Children's Series:

Curious George, Nov. 13.

The Night Before Christmas, Dec. 2-5.

Hugga-Bunny's Eggs-traordinary Adventure, March 5 and 6.

Spotlight on Broadway:

Smokey Joe's Cafe, Oct. 14. Hits of the 1950s and '60s.

Say Goodnight Gracie, starring Jamie Farr, Nov. 3 and 4. Life of George Burns and Gracie Allen.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Feb. 26. Western musical.

Broadway! The Big Band Years, March 8. Broadway hits from the 1930s, '40s, and '50s.

Once Upon a Mattress, June 16-19. Fairy tale musical. (Not included in series price.)

Special Attractions:

Pat Dailey, Jan. 7. Put-in-Bay singer/songwriter.

Leahy, Feb. 11. "An Irish Valentine."

Two other shows, Grease, Feb. 3, and Spirit of the Dance, March, 12, will be held at the Stranahan Theater.
