If your perfect afternoon involves plenty of food and live music, swing over to the Wing Thing tomorrow at Westgate Village Shopping Center. The food and music event will offer wings from several local restaurants, plus music from three area bands.

The 11-hour event also features a classic car show. Registration for the car show runs from 10 a.m. to noon, and is free, said Katie Miller of Cumulus Media, organizer of Wing Thing. Admission for the event is $5.

Restaurants selling wings and other food include Buffalo Wild Wings, The Magnificent 3, Cousino's Navy Bistro, Gumbo's Bayou Grille and Tango's Mexican Cantina at The Docks, Jed's Barbeque & Brew, Papa John's, Gino's, The Jersey Sports Bar, H.D. Charly's, Arnie's, Ponderosa, and Barry Bagels.

Food prices are $3 for six wings, and $2 for a beer, Miller said.

The entertainment schedule has Skooby Snaks performing at 1 p.m., Josh Boyd and the VIP Band at 5 p.m., and Velvet Jones at 8 p.m.

Proceeds benefit Toledo Firefighters Local 92.
