Lombardo orchestra to perform

Guy Lombardo's Royal Canadians with Al Pierson and the Johnny Knorr Orchestra will play "Music You Like - The Way You Like It," from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Terrace, 5773 Centennial Rd., Sylvania. Tickets are $15 in advance from 419-690-0500 or 419-882-1500 or $18 at the door.

Saxophonist Lynn Klock and Hepcat Revival will join Sam Szor and the Toledo Concert Band in a Music under the Stars presentation titled "Hollywood: Pouring on the Charm" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Toledo Zoo amphitheater, 2700 Broadway.

6th Edition will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight in the Jazz in the Garden series in Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Dr. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for members of the Toledo Jazz Society or the TBG.

The Lakeside Symphony Orchestra will perform at 8:15

p.m. tomorrow in Hoover Auditorium, Lakeside, Ohio. The orchestra will play original opening tunes in celebration of the 75th anniversary of Hoover Auditorium, and will include the Overture to Oberon, Hungarian Rhapsody, and the Pomp and Circumstance March. Concert admission is free, but there is a Lakeside gate fee of $12.25 for adults and $8.50 for children ages 10-18. Information: 419-798-4461.

Groovemaster will play reggae music at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Glyn M. Smith amphitheater in Ottawa Park.

Kepler's Privateers will present the next program in the Rhythm on the River Art Series at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Timberframe Pavilion near Bluebell Island on Front Street in Grand Rapids. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Town Hall.

The Toledo Ballet Association has expanded dance offerings for adults beginning this fall, offering modern, jazz, and hip-hop classes, in addition to expanded levels of ballet classes. Also new is BalletFit, a workout class for adults, beginning Sept. 8 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the studio in the Westfiled Shoppingtown Franklin Park. is titled "All The World Is A Stage."

The schedule includes the University of Santo Tomas Singers, 8 p.m. Sept. 10; Tom Chapin and Red Grammer, 3 p.m. Oct. 10; the Capitol Steps, 7 p.m. Oct. 24; Eddie Boggs, 2 p.m. Dec. 5; pianist David Lanz with Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel, 7 p.m. Dec. 12, and the Irish Rovers, 8 p.m. March 11, 2005.
