'Contact' opening in the Stranahan
1/12/2005Contact, winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, opens tomorrow in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. The evening consists of three short stories about the pursuit of love, told mostly through dance. Performances times are 8 p.m. tomorrow and Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. The production is recommended for mature audiences. The Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St., presents the St. Petersburg Ballet in Romeo & Juliet at 7:30 tonight. Co-presented with the Toledo Ballet, the production is set to music by Sergei Prokofiev. Tickets are $20, $39 and $49 from the box office, 419-242-2787.
Board the Blues Express! A few seats are left on a bus heading to Memphis Feb. 3-5 for the 21st International Blues Challenge.
