BGSU slates percussion night
3/31/2005World Percussion Night is scheduled at Bowling Green State University as Kusuma Sari Gamelan and the Afro-Caribbean Ensemble perform a free concert at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
Also at BGSU, Jazz Week 05 opens with a free concert by the Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Chris Buzzelli at 8 p.m. Monday in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore center.
Voice students from the BGSU College of Musical Arts will stage a free cabaret-style program titled We re Not Sick, We re Just in Love at 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday in 228 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
The performance will feature familiar selections from American musical theater, along with some light opera. Seating is limited to 125.
The Four Freshman will bring their unique vocal and instrumental jazz style to the student union s Lenhart Grand Ballroom for a concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $25. Information: 419-372-8171 or 800-589-2224.

The Bluffton University music department presents its 2005 Bach Festival today-Sunday. Opening the festival will be pianist George Lucktenberg at 7:30 tonight.
