Ronnie Baker Brooks, the son of blues artist Lonnie Brooks, will perform at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill, 5625 Benore Rd. The concert is sponsored by the Black Swamp Blues Society. Cover is $12 for blues society members, $15 for the public. A general membership meeting takes place at 6 p.m.

Double Indemnity, the 1944 thriller, has been scheduled at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Super Cinemas, 1301 East Mall Dr., Holland, as the latest entry in National Amusements' Silver Screen Classics program.

The film concerns a beautiful woman (Barbara Stanwyck) who seduces an insurance agent (Fred MacMurray) into murdering her husband. Their scheme to profit by the husband's death is complicated by a clause in his insurance policy and by the decision of a brilliant insurance investigator (Edward G. Robinson) to probe the case.

The price of $1 will buy viewers a ticket, popcorn, and a soft drink. The Silver Screen Classics program is geared toward senior citizens, but movie fans of all ages are welcome to attend.

Children's Theatre Workshop will present the classic fairy tale The Pied Piper of Hamelin, adapted by Madge Miller, at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Lois M. Nelson Theater for the Performing Arts in the Collingwood Arts Center, 2417 Collingwood Blvd. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors at the door.

Much Ado About Nothing will open tomorrow at Owens Community College and run through April 24. The Toledo-Lucas County Library continues with the spring schedule for Film Movement: An Independent Film Festival, running Thursdays through May 12 in the Main Library, 325 Michigan St. Each free screening begins at 6:30 p.m. in the McMaster Family Center for Lifelong Learning and will be followed by a group discussion.
