Eminem, 50 Cent tickets going on sale
4/20/2005Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for the Anger Management Tour 3: Eminem and 50 Cent with Lil Jon & the Eastside Boys, D12, G Unit, Obie Trice and Statquo at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 in Detroit's Comerica Park. Tickets, $69.50, are available at the Comerica Park and Joe Louis Arena box offices and Ticketmaster outlets.
Gaelic Storm will be performing at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow in Mickey Finn's Pub, 602 Lagrange St. The group appeared in the movie Titanic as the steerage band. Tickets are $20 at the door. The Griswolds play at 9:30 p.m. Friday and 4 on the Floor with Johnny Hooligan takes the stage at 10 p.m. Saturday; cover for each is $5.
Tickets also are on sale for the Celtic group Teada, which comes to Finn's at 8:30 p.m. May 26. Cost is $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Jazz legend Dave Brubeck will be Bowling Green State University's guest for "An Evening of Music by Dave Brubeck," at 8 p.m. Friday in Kobecker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Chordiac Arrest, a barbershop quartet from Chicago that wears green surgical scrubs and pokes fun at doctors and the medical profession, will perform in the 43rd annual Barbershop Comedy Cabaret at 8 p.m. Saturday in Fostoria High School. In the event sponsored by the Fostoria chapter, SPEBSQSA, Inc., Buckeye Blend, a quartet from Columbus, also will perform with chapter quartets Paragon, Esprit de Chords, and Just 4 Fun. Toledo filmmaker Thomas Hofbauer's locally produced independent film In the Company of Strangers will be shown at the Frogtown Film Festival at 2 p.m. Saturday in Maumee Valley Country Day School's Millennium Theater, 1715 South Reynolds Rd., and again at 10 a.m. Sunday in the BGSU Film and Media Festival in 115 Olscamp Hall on the campus.
