Hendricks concert slated at Maumee theater
10/6/2005Ohio Treasures Concert and Afterglow will feature Jon Hendricks and Company at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 in the Maumee Theater, 601 Conant St., Maumee. Hendricks is a professor of jazz studies at the University of Toledo and a 2005 Lifetime Grammy Award winner. The Jon Hendricks Trio features Peter Mihelich on piano, Neal Miner on bass, and Andy Watson on drums. Concert tickets are $25. The Villagers, the house entertainers for the former Friar Tuck's in Maumee, will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St. Tickets are $23, $28 and $32.
Also performing at the theatre will be the Capitol Steps, the comedy troupe that pokes fun at politics, at 7 p.m. Oct. 16. Tickets are $31, $36 and $42.

Menopause The Musical Out Loud will be staged at 7:30 Oct. 14 in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. Tickets are $44 and $48.
Also at the theater, tickets are on sale for two holiday shows. Lorie Line's Holiday Tradition Tour, scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22, costs $32.50 to $52.50 for adults and $32 for children. Jim Brickman's Holiday Concert, due 8 p.m. Dec. 2, costs $42.50 and $47.50.

The Amazing Kreskin Show has been rescheduled from Oct. 29 at the Franciscan Theatre & Conference Center of Loudes College to April 1 at the Maumee Indoor Theater.

Comedienne Jeri Jewell will present "An Afternoon of Laughter" at 3 p.m. Oct. 16 in Perrysburg High School auditorium.
