Jump Rhythm Jazz Project of Chicago performs Saturday at Ohio Northern U

The Jump Rhythm Jazz Project from Chicago will bring its blend of dance built on the foundations of swinging jazz music to Ohio Northern University Saturday.

The 8 p.m. concert in the Biggs Theatre of the Freed Center of the Performing Arts in Ada will feature the ONU Dance Company and the Jump Rhythm Jazz Project dancers, who are known for fast-paced, funk jazz rhythms.

The Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, which performs and teaches nationally and internationally, was founded by Billy Siegenfeld, who also is a Charles Deering McCormick Professor for Teaching Excellence at Northwestern University.
