Madama Butterfly scheduled
10/20/2005The Toledo Opera presents Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly, a tale set in early 20th- century Japan, at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and Nov. 11 and 2 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St.
The opera, in Italian with projected English translations, follows the marriage between a Japanese geisha and her disengaged American husband. Tickets range from $90 to $45. Information: 419-255-7464.
