Doc Severinsen to join symphony for holiday concert
11/10/2005It will be a "Doc Holiday," celebration as Doc Severinsen, conductor Chelsea Tipton II, and the Toledo Symphony Orchestra deck the halls with an evening of music featuring classics, pops, jazz, big band, and holiday favorites, at the Stranahan Theater and Great Hall, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $28 to $63. The Terra Community College Music Department will hold its annual Holiday Chorale Festival, titled "Upon A Midnight Clear," featuring the Terra Community Concert Choir, Arts Chorale, Men's Chorus, Terra Brass Choir, String Ensemble, and the vocal jazz/pop ensemble State of the Art.
