Patsy Cline show delayed

The Patsy Cline Show by tribute artist Tara Woogon, scheduled for Saturday at the Ohio Theatre, has been postponed until 8 p.m. Feb. 11 because of a family crisis. Original tickets will be honored for the rescheduled show, or refunds are available from the theater, 419-241-6785.

Tony Orlando s Tie A Yellow Ribbon Christmas Show comes to the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., at 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 1. Orlando will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Family Support Fund of Toledo s 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard. Also at the theater will be the Ultimate Doo-Wop Show at 7 p.m. Nov. 19. The show stars the Drifters, Gene Chandler, the Fleetwoods, the Tune Weavers, the Bobbettes, Cleveland Stills & the Dubs, the Diamonds/David Somerville, Randy & the Rainbows, and the Rama Lama Big Band. Storyteller, sculptor, and award-winning illustrator Wil Clay will join the Toledo Frogtown Storytelling Guild in the worldwide storytelling event Tellabration! Nov. 19 at the Maumee Indoor Theater, 601 Conant St., Maumee. The evening of stories for grownups begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 at the door or from guild members.

The Hot Club of San Francisco presents Silent Surrealism at 8 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts, 30335 Oregon Rd., Perrysburg. The early days of French cinema are revived with a series of short silent films accompanied by the group s gypsy jazz. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $15 for students. The club will conduct a jazz clinic at 2 p.m. Nov. 19, free for Owens students and employees and $5 for the general public. Space is limited; call the box office for reservations.

The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo will host its first Border Bash from 7 to 11 p.m. Nov. 18 at Margarita Rocks, Superior Street and Jefferson Avenue. The evening celebrates the football rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan. VIP tickets to the football suite are $25 each and include snacks and beverages, as well as acoustic performances by Johnny Rodriguez, Tony Papa, Jeff Stewart, and others. The Kent Branch Library, 3101 Collingwood Blvd., presents a dance competition, Can You Move It? Prove It!, Nov. 25. The program is free and open to all ages, with a noon registration and participation limited to the first 64 who sign up. A one-on-one dance-off begins at 1 p.m.
