Toledo School for the Arts plans Spring Music Festival

The Toledo School for the Arts presents its Spring Music Festival featuring the school's chorus and orchestra at 7 p.m. March 30 in the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center of Lourdes College, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania. Musica Antigua de Toledo presents a concert, "Music of Court and Cathedral," at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, in Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 West Sylvania Ave. There will be a free-will offering of $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students. Information: 419-475-8629.

The Toledo Opera presents Ruggero Leoncavallo's Pagliacci at 7:30 p.m. April 1 and 7, and at 2 p.m. April 9, in the Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St. The opera will be sung in Italian with projected English translations. The Toledo Symphony presents a family concert, "The Carnival of Animals - A Musical Menagerie," at 11 a.m. April 1 in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle, 2445 Monroe St. Tickets range from $15 to $20 for adults, $7.50 to $10 for children.

BGSU's Faculty Artists Series continues with pianist Ivana Cojbasic in a free program at 3 p.m. April 2 in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
