Group offers drum and dance classes

Alma Drum and Dance is offering adult West African Drum and Dance classes from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays beginning tonight through July 13 in Room 227 of the Collingwood Arts Center, 2413 Collingwood Blvd. Classes are $10, and no experience is necessary. Information: 419-810-2800.

Nine Old West End church choirs under director Samuel Szor will unite to sing Mass in G by Shubert in conjunction with the Old West End Festival at 4 p.m. June 4 in First Congregational Church, 2315 Collingwood Blvd. Participating church choirs are from Ashland Baptist, Central United Methodist, Collingwood Presbyterian, First Church of God, First Congregational, First Unitarian, Glenwood Lutheran, Rosary Cathedral, and St. Mark's Episcopal.
