Pat Dailey Show headlines Rally by the River

Rally by the River returns from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 2 along the downtown riverfront in Promenade Park. Johnny Rodriguez opens for the Pat Dailey Show. Admission is $5 at the gate. Information: 419-249-5018.

(HED) PE with Wicked Wisdom & Mower will be in concert June 3 in Headliners, 4500 North Detroit Ave. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the all-ages show. Advance tickets are $12 at Ticketmaster, and $15 at the door. Information: 419-693-5300.

This year's historic Old West End Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 3 and 4 in the Old West End. Scheduled is a juried art show with more than 60 artists, historic home tours, garage and lawn sales, entertainment, children's activities, a restoration clinic, and a parade. Carnevale Nights, a benefit for Toledo Opera's education and outreach programs, takes place June 9 and 10 at the Town Center at Levis Commons, I-475 and State Rt. 25 in Perrysburg. The Italian street festival runs from 6 to 11 p.m. each night, and includes an outdoor cafe and wine garden, and live entertainment. Headlining the event will be Jefferson Starship at 7:30 p.m. June 9. Roman Griswold with Ron Crawford and Voodoo Libido perform at 7 p.m. June 10, followed by the Motor City Rhythm and Blues Pioneers at 8, and C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band at 9. The Toledo School for the Arts Chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting a film festival for area students in grades 6 through 12 June 9 in the school, 333 14th St. The festival starts at 6 p.m., and will be followed by awards at 8. Films will be accepted through June 1 at the school. Film categories are: short comedy, short drama, long comedy, long drama, documentary, and animated. Submission is free. Garage Rock III, the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's free four-week Thursday evening music series, takes place at 6:30 p.m. July 6, 13, 20, and 27 in the parking garage of the library, 325 Michigan St., downtown. This year's theme: "Garage Rock III: Underground and Over The Top," will feature three musical acts each night, and refreshments, artwork, radio personalities, and vendors. Participating bands will be announced in June.

The Croswell Opera House in Adrian will hold Summer Musical Theatre Workshops for different age groups June through August. Those ages 6-12 years will meet 1 to 3 p.m. weekdays June 12-23. Those ages 13-18 years will meet 1 to 3 p.m. weekdays July 24-Aug. 4. Classes will be in the lower level of the Adrian Public Library and the rehearsal room of the Opera House.
