Lorie Line, Rhythm Devils appear at the Stranahan

The Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., has two upcoming concerts and one rescheduled event.

Pianist Lorie Line and her pop chamber orchestra will perform "The Traditions of Christmas" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. The Rhythm Devils, a band featuring former Grateful Dead band members Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, former Phish bassist Mike Gordon, and San Francisco Bay area guitarist Steve Kimock, is set for 8 p.m. Oct. 21. Tickets are $28.50 and $36.50.

The Music of Led Zeppelin by the Toledo Symphony, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been re-scheduled to Sept., 23, 2007.

Tickets are on sale for a performance by the Harlem Globetrotters at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 in the University of Toledo's Savage Hall. The Toledo Jazz Orchestra, under director Russell Schmidt, will open the 2006-07 Harold Jaffe Concert Series at 8 p.m. Oct. 21 with "Meet Your Toledo Jazz Orchestra," at the Franciscan Theatre of Lourdes College, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania. The program is designed to highlight the individual musicians of the TJO. Single tickets are $5 for students, $22 for TJO Society members, and $25 for non-members from 419-241-5299.

The Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St., hosts three October events. The Bayaniham Philippine Group will take the stage at 8 p.m. Oct. 20. Tickets are $27, $35 and $45 from the box office, 419-242-2787.

A Halloween Creature Feature is scheduled at 7 p.m. Oct. 27; at 2 and 7 p.m. Oct. 28, and at 2 p.m. Oct. 29. The classic 3-D film, Creature From the Black Lagoon will be shown. Adult tickets are $8.50, and tickets for children under 12 are $5.

The Capitol Steps return to the Valentine at 7 p.m. Oct. 29. Tickets are $30, $36 and $42.

The Arts Partnership presents A Night of Comedy! Starring Bob Zany and Tom Mabe's Revenge on the Telemarketers tour at 8 p.m. Oct. 21 in Findlay's Central Auditorium. Adult tickets are $20, $18 for seniors, students and children from 419-422-4624 or $23 at the door.

Family Fun Sundays begin at Owens Community College, 30335 Oregon Rd., Perrysburg, with ArtsPower's production of Harry The Dirty Dog at 2 and 4 p.m. Oct. 22. Guests can meet and greet the cast after the show. The second production will be the Cashore Marionettes at 2 p.m. Jan. 21, 2007. Award winning artist Joseph Cashore creates and manipulates these lifelike marionettes in a performance entitled "Simple Gifts." The final performance is Rainbow Fish, Marcus Pfister's bestselling tale that has been adapted for the musical stage by ArtsPower National Touring Theater. Meet and greet the cast after the show.

Just Julia: A One-Woman Cabaret featuring Julia Hawkins, a Tecumseh resident who has had many appearances on local stages, will be Oct. 21 8 p.m. in the Tecumseh Civic Auditorium, 400 North Maumee St., Tecumseh.
