Brian Howe brings Bad Company to Club Bijou

12/7/2006

Bad Company is coming to Toledo on Saturday, but it's not the same band that was a classic rock cornerstone in the '70s.

The version appearing in Club Bijou does not contain original lead singer Paul Rodgers (who now sings for Queen), bassist Boz Burrell (who died earlier this year), or drummer Simon Kirke and guitarist Mick Ralphs (both of whom have moved on to other music projects).

The touring incarnation is led by lead singer Brian Howe, who fronted a version of Bad Company that had a few hits in the late '80s and early '90s.

Club Bijou is at 241 North Superior St. Doors open Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $18.50, are available from Ticketmaster.
