The Scene: Jeff Stewart

Year formed: I started playing professionally at age 19, and I've been supporting myself full-time as a musician and artist since 2000.

Members: Although I generally perform solo, you can find me playing with Vince Lyons, Doug Picott, and Dave Johnson as Jeff Stewart and The 25s. Add Rob Morrin and Ron Morrin and we also gig a few times a year as The Flecks.

Style of Music: Let's call it Rock and Roll Folk.

Influences: The Rolling Stones taught me to rock, Van Morrison is my favorite lyricist, and B.B. King just makes me smile.

Sounds a little like: People tell me "Mellencamp meets U2." I'll take it.

Favorite venue: I love Toledo, and I just like playing in my city, period.
