Gordon Lightfoot comes to Stranahan

Veteran singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will perform at the Stranahan Theater Sept. 18 and tickets go on sale Friday.

Lightfoot came of age in Canadian coffeehouses in the 1960s and has continued playing concerts steadily ever since. A contemporary of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, Lightfoot is best known for the songs "If You Could Read My Mind," "Sundown," "Early Morning Rain," "Carefree Highway," "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," and "Canadian Railroad Trilogy."
