Train makes a stop at the zoo Tuesday

Train rolls into the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre on Tuesday night on the strength of its new album "California 37," which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's top 200 album charts.

The latest single from the release, "Drive-By" is lingering at the top of Billboard's adult contemporary singles chart, one of a string of radio-friendly hits the San Francisco band has produced in its 14 years.

"Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter," "Calling All Angels," and 2009's ubiquitous "Hey Soul Sister" have established the band as reliable producers of mainstream adult contemporary pop and rock. Led by original members Pat Monahan, Jimmy Stafford, and Scott Underwood, Train has steadily carved out a strong following thanks to regular touring and six solid albums.

Train also has its own wine label, Save Me San Francisco, and Monahan has recorded a solo album.

Train, along with special guests Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer, will play Tuesday at the zoo. Tickets are $39.50, $49.50, and $65.
