Grammy Award-winning guitarist Pete Anderson will play the Village Idiot tonight.

Best known for his work with Dwight Yoakam, Anderson is a solo artist who has released five albums -- with another one scheduled for next year -- and who crosses genres from country to blues, rock, and jazz. His show is a return visit to the club, which he played in November last year.

As a producer he has worked with Michelle Shocked, Roy Orbison, and the Meat Puppets, among others.

Admission is $10 and show time is at 8 p.m. with Toledo's Zimmerman Twins opening. The Village Idiot is at 309 Conant St. in downtown Maumee.
