Annual Tellabration! is grownup story time
11/8/2012Jeff Doyle will headline the Frogtown Storytelling Guild's 12th annual Tellabration! Friday at the Maumee Indoor Theater.
Tellabration! is a spoken-word concert for adults. The event is part of the National Storytelling Network's worldwide night of storytelling.
Doyle began telling stories to entertain his children at family campouts. He will share the spotlight with members of the Frogtown Storytelling Guild, including Dave Davis, Marion Hallauer, Pat Lora, Glenda Miller, Tari Miller, Michael Moore, Regina Patrick, Odessa Rowan, Ken Solo, and Ken Wielfaert.
Story types range from folktales and legends to romantic sagas, humorous accounts, and personal narratives.
The events runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available at the door. High school and college students with a student ID will be admitted free. Information: 419-350-1454.
