A weekend full of music, shopping, and comedy

Rock the night away at the fifth annual Jingle Balls concert Friday. The rock and roll Christmas show will kick off at 8 p.m. at Mickey Finn's Pub, 602 Lagrange St. The band is composed almost exclusively of members of the local bar and bench, as well as court and clerk employees and others. This year's show will be dedicated to Lucas County Public Defender Neil Light and attorney Tom Overley, both who were members of the band and recently passed away. Admission is $5 and proceeds benefit the Josh Project, Moses Fleetwood Walker Society, and the Neil Light Scholarship.

Just in time for the holidays, small business owners across Toledo have united to host the Glass City Urban Business Expo Saturday at the Grand Plaza Hotel, 444 N. Summit St. The event will feature a variety of vendors selling everything from apparel, jewelry, and makeup to services, including car detailing and spa packages. Comedian Rob Holloway will perform five shows at Connxtions Comedy Club this weekend. The North Carolina funnyman is known for delivering a high-energy show full of special sound effects and impressions of celebrities and characters. Also appearing is comedian Larry XL.
