Huntington Center hosts Luke Bryan performance Friday

Country music heavyweight Luke Bryan will bring his Dirt Road Diaries Tour to the Huntington Center on Friday. Bryan's career has soared in the past couple of years, with his recent album, "Tailgates & Tanlines," selling more than one million copies. He's also won ACM and CMT awards and has opened tours for country superstars Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, and Tim McGraw. The tour launched in January and is Bryan's first time headlining a major tour. Tickets range from $27.25 to $52. Additional fees may be charged. About 1,000 gaming enthusiasts will convene at the University of Toledo for three days worth of dice rolling, role playing, video gaming, networking, and a little full-contact medieval combat. The 28th annual BASHcon starts Friday and runs through Sunday. Some highlights this year include workshops, a board game championship, battletech pods, painting, and anime.

Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, with registration at 4 p.m. Gaming begins at 9 a.m. the remaining days and runs until midnight Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free for UT students, faculty, and staff. General admission is $15 for the weekend. For more information, visit bashcon.com.

Celebrate all things winter at Winter Weekends at the Toledo Zoo. Activities include Cabin Fever Feeds, where guest can watch zoo animals chow down or see them up close during an animal demo. Guest will also see ice-carving demonstrations, live entertainment, and more. This weekend's festivities kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday and run until 4 p.m. Magic shows are scheduled from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A bounce house will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Monday. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $5.50 for children ages 2-12. Children under 2 are admitted free.
