The Backstreet Boys Aug. 4 concert at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater has been moved to the downtown the Huntington Center.

Production issues regarding staging the show forced the change.

“We wanted to make sure our fans in Toledo have the chance to see our full show just like the rest of the country. We apologize for any inconvenience,” the band's representative said in a news release.

All fans that purchased tickets for the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater concert will be given the opportunity to exchange their tickets for comparable seats at the new venue. Ticket changes will begin today at 10 a.m. through day of show.

Anyone who purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or through the Ticketmaster phone number will automatically have their tickets exchanged by Ticketmaster via email. Anyone who bought a ticket at a Ticketmaster outlet must exchange the ticket at that outlet. Anyone who purchased at the Toledo Zoo Box Office or won tickets through local promotions, must exchange them at the Huntington Center Box Office.

The box office, 500 Jefferson Ave., is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday only when there is an event that day. Tickets are $35 and remain on sale.

Opening acts are DJ Pauly D and Jesse McCartney.
