Dauleita Wyle of North Toledo accepts a CD from rappers Marquis Turner, or ‘Sikosa,’ center, and Jason Jensen, or ‘J-360,’ right, both of whom grew up in Toledo and now live in the Detroit area, after they donated $400 to the Frederick Douglass Center in Toledo. The pair wrote a song entitled, ‘I Thought They Cared,’ about Keondra Hooks, the 1-year-old slain at the Moody Manor apartments in 2012. The money will be used for food, clothing, and other essentials.
