University of Toledo Aspiring Filmmakers Showcase: Presented by the UT Film & Video Society and UT department of theatre & film. Screenings at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Center for Performing Arts' Center Theatre on main campus at Towerview West and West Rocket Drive. Tickets are $5 general admission, $3 for students and those 60 and older.

AUDITIONS

Auditions for the Toledo Rep’s Young Frankenstein, the New Mel Brooks Musical will be at 1 p.m. March 22 at Toledo School for the Arts, 333 14th St., No. 4. The musical comedy is based on Mel Brooks’ 1974 film. With a live musical combo, the show includes such tunes as The Transylvania Mania and Puttin’ On the Ritz. Directed by Amy Spaulding-Heuring, performances will be June 6-7, 13-15, and 19-22. A list of character descriptions is available at toledorep.org under the Auditions tab.
