Trio of area drive-ins to broadcast live concert

A concert by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will be shown at three area drive-ins tonight.
Three area drive-in movie theaters are trying something new late today.
The Sundance Kid Drive-In in Oregon and the Field of Dreams Drive-Ins in Liberty Center and Tiffin will feature a live-via-satellite transmission of a concert by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band.
Buffett and his band will be performing at a drive-in in Texas. The concert will be shown on dozens of drive-in screens across the United States.
The “Live at the Drive-In” concert begins at 9:50 p.m.
At the Sundance Kid, the box office opens at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. Food and alcoholic beverages will be sold on-site. Customers bringing food or beverages in from outside must buy a $10 permit.
At the two Field of Dreams locations, tickets are $18 per person, and a $10 permit for those bringing food in from outside.
Gates open at 4 p.m. in Tiffin and at 7:30 p.m. in Liberty Center.
