CHICAGO -- Kelly Osbourne was a reality star, actress, and musician before anyone took notice that she had a knack for style.

But lately the 27-year-old daughter of Ozzy Osbourne, currently with violet hair after stints of pink, lilac, and gray, has earned the title of certified fashionista, dishing the designer dirt with Joan Rivers and co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos after major Hollywood red carpets on E! Fashion Police. She also sat front row with Rivers at the Badgley Mischka show during the New York Fashion Week this past February.

"I'm in the process of branding, doing my own line. I will not just attach my name to something," Osbourne said. "I want to be a part of every aspect of it. I want to do everything on it and even down to like making sure I know where the clothes or items are being manufactured."

Now she's being tapped to kick off fashion-fueled events too, like this month's the Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival along Chicago's Michigan Avenue. While there Osbourne shared three things she learned walking the red carpet that she considers top everyday tips for real women:

●Spray tans: "It just gives you that golden glow, a bit of bronze, like you've been kissed by the sun," Osbourne said. "It makes you look slimmer and it makes you feel healthier. I always do that. I hate that I don't have one now."

●Flatter that figure: "Even if you're a skinny girl, Spanx are a must," Osbourne said, name-checking the shaping undergarments have become a red-carpet staple for women. "Nobody wants to see your belly button through your dress."

●Pamper your feet: "Always pack a pair of ballet flats in your handbag because by the end of the night your feet are killing you. You want to keep going but you can't. I can't tell you how many times I've had to go home early because my feet hurt and I haven't had a pair of shoes to change into. Don't let your footwear ruin your good time," she said.

Lindsay Lohan sought for questioning in theft

LOS ANGELES -- Lindsay Lohan is being sought for questioning by Los Angeles police over a jewelry theft at the home of a friend, the Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed law enforcement sources.

The Times said police were expected to present a case to prosecutors as early as Tuesday to determine if there was enough evidence to file charges over a theft of watches. It was not immediately clear who was a suspect.

A spokesman for Mean Girls actress Lohan declined comment.

The incident surfaced in the media last week when celebrity Web site TMZ.com reported that the troubled actress and her assistant were guests at a home in the Hollywood Hills, and the owner later reported a theft to the Los Angeles police.

The Los Angeles Times said the owner of the watches is not cooperating with their investigation.

If Lohan, 26, is found to be involved in a theft, it could pose serious consequences for the actress who was released from almost five years of formal probation in March this year.

'Star Wars' 3-D follows '97

LOS ANGELES -- Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox are taking a page out of the successful 1997 re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy as they prepare for a 3-D launch of two more movies from the space saga next year.

Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the fifth and sixth movies in George Lucas' science-fiction franchise -- but the second and third chronologically -- will be released in 3-D on Sept. 20, 2013, and Oct. 11, 2013, respectively. Lucasfilm announced the news on its Facebook page Monday.

Putting the two movies three weeks apart mirrors Fox and Lucasfilm's strategy 15 years ago when the original Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and, Return of the Jedi were re-released in three-week increments over the winter.

Christina Aguilera: New album is a 'rebirth'

LOS ANGELES -- Christina Aguilera is comparing her upcoming album to a "rebirth."

With more than a decade in the music business behind her, the album will be a culmination of "everything I've experienced up until this point," the 31-year-old pop star said in a recent interview.

"I've been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on [The Voice], having had a divorce," she said. "This is all sort of a free rebirth for me."

Aguilera and Jordan Bratman were married for five years before she filed for divorce in 2010. They have a 4-year-old son, Max.

Her new album's first single, "Your Body," was produced by Max Martin, who also produced Aguilera's last hit, the Maroon 5 smash "Moves Like Jagger," where she was featured.

"I'm embracing many different things, but it's all feel-good," she said of the album's material, including tracks that are "superexpressive" and fun.
