FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — An Arizona man is facing serious injuries after Flagstaff police say two men attacked him with a machete.

Police say the unidentified victim was attacked Saturday and suffered injuries to his face, head, back and one of his legs.

The victim told police that he was targeted by the pair because of an earlier confrontation.

Police say they have identified one of the suspects in the attack as 19-year-old Andrew James Jaurequi, of Flagstaff. The second suspect, who authorities say goes by the name “Sauce,” has not been positively identified.

The condition of the victim is not known.
