NEW YORK — Investigators have yet to identify a suspect in the brazen shooting of a Los Angeles man in midtown Manhattan.
A gunman and a getaway driver ambushed Brandon Lincoln Woodard on Monday after he checked out of a Columbus Circle hotel.
An investigation has led police to Queens, where they located the assailants’ car. Investigators think it might have been a professional hit.
But Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Thursday that police still haven't located the two men. They also haven't determined who may have ordered them to kill Woodard, or why.
The 31-year-old Woodard was a college graduate who had a history of run-ins with the law.
