Girl reported missing in CA found on UK campus

Toddler reported missing in CA in Oct. found on University of Kentucky campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky police have found a child they say was reported missing in California more than two months ago.

WKYT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/VF0iGL) university police received a call Thursday night about a suspicious person on campus.

They found a woman with 17-month-old Alouette Day-Moreno-Baltierra. The woman claimed to be the child's grandmother.

Police say the girl had been missing from Los Angeles since October 15.

They do not know why the girl was brought to Kentucky, but she is safe now.
