LAS VEGAS — Police are trying to find who's responsible for a shooting at a Las Vegas movie theater lobby that left two male victims critically wounded.

Authorities say it happened a little after midnight today at the UA Showcase Theater, near the MGM Grand casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

Police say a fight that happened in the foyer escalated into a shooting. Officer Bill Cassell says one person fell in the lobby, while the second victim fell into an elevator and ended up on the fifth floor.

Cassell tells KVVU-TV that the fight apparently broke out between two groups of people who knew each other and ran into each other on the Strip.

Additional details about the people who were shot and suspect information were not immediately available early today.
