Philly thieves drive off in Bentley, Lamborghini

PHILADELPHIA — Authorities say thieves broke into a Philadelphia apartment and stole the keys to a Bentley and a yellow Lamborghini with a Batman sticker before speeding off in the luxury cars.

Authorities say the thieves broke in through a second-floor window in the city’s East Falls neighborhood late Monday or early today. They took the keys to the two cars, along with about $2,500 and two flat-screen televisions.

Police say one of the stolen vehicles, a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo with a Batman sticker on the back window, has been recovered. The other, a 2006 black Continental Flying Sport Bentley, remains missing.

Chief Inspector Scott Small says it appears the owner had been targeted.
