SF police seek suspect ID in light-rail shooting

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco police are trying to identify a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in the back of the head while he was exiting a light-rail car.

Police tell the San Francisco Chronicle the Monday night shooting appears to have been a random, unprovoked attack.

They have released surveillance footage of the suspect that was taken inside the light-rail car and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
