HOUSTON  — Harris County authorities say a man wanted in connection with an apartment shooting near Houston that left three people dead has been captured.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced today that a fugitive task force had arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Sanchez earlier that morning.

Sanchez is charged with capital murder in connection with the Nov. 20, 2013, shooting in a suburb 25 miles northwest of Houston.

The Harris County Medical Examiner’s office has identified those killed in the shooting as 21-year-old Yosselyn Alfaro, and Veronica Hernandez and Daniel Munoz, both 17. Two others were critically wounded.

Authorities have not provided a motive for shooting, but they found firearms and a substance that appeared to be an illegal drug inside the apartment. It was not immediately known if Sanchez has an attorney.
