Fast-growing Washington wildfire burns 2 homes

SPOKANE, Wash — A wildfire burning in Washington state’s scenic Methow Valley has burned at least two homes.

The fast-growing Carlton Complex of fires covers 28 square miles of the scenic valley near the town of Twisp.

Fire spokesman Jacob McCann says two primary residences have burned. He says there are unconfirmed reports that eight other homes have burned.
