9/27/2006Heaven Randolph of Wauseon, a junior at Pettisville High School and a Federal Blue Ribbon No Child Left Behind recipient, will serve as a Republican page to Congressman Paul Gillmor in Washington until Jan. 26, 2007.
She began her service on Sept. 5.
Heaven is a teacher's aide, a member of the Spanish Club, Junior Varsity volleyball, and a Girl Scout.
She is also president of her church youth group and a volunteer at the Cherry Street Mission.
She has a 3.7 grade-point average.
As an FFA committee chairman, she has visited Washington previously to attend a national FFA convention.

Jessica York, a seventh-grade student at Springfield Middle School in Holland, was a state finalist and a contestant in the National American Miss Pageant held recently in Columbus.
She won three trophies while competing with more than 200 girls in her age division.
She received trophies for being a state finalist and for Outstanding Program Participation and a letter of commendation and a certificate of honor from the National Honor Roll.
Jessica is involved in choir and cross country at Springfield Middle School.

Members of Clay High School's environmental and agricultural technologies program were awarded a first place by the National FFA Organization at the Eastern Regional States Exposition held Sept. 15 to 16 in Springfield, Mass.
The team members competed in the area of Environmental Science and Natural Resources Management. They included:
