Student of the Week: Joshua Ringbloom

Joshua Ringbloom, a senior from Maybee, Mich., plans to pursue a career as a master engineer at a manufacturing company. His favorite subjects are math, history, and drafting, and he has a 4.0 grade-point average.

An Academic All-State, Joshua is recipient of the Scholar-Athlete, Most Valuable Runner, and Rookie of the Year awards. He has also received the LCAA Sportsmanship and MCEA Academic All-Star awards, is an academic letter winner, and runs both cross country and track.

He has run in races benefiting Monroe Project READ, the Michigan Transplant Center, and the American Cancer Society. He has also volunteered at the Aspen Grove assisted living home through the National Honor Society.

"All of the faculty at Dundee like and respect Josh," said Michelle Sanford, school counselor. "His work ethic and sense of humor make him a pleasure to work with. We are all very proud of Josh."

Josh is the son of Curt and Wendy Ringbloom.
