MONROE CARING ALTERNATIVES

Medication management services for individuals having difficulty taking prescribed medications.

Assessment by registered nurses, who will set up dispensing of medications and injections while complying with physicians' orders. Program is for all ages, but seniors receive sliding fee scale.

POWER WHEELCHAIRS FOR SENIORS

AND THE DISABLED

Electric power wheelchairs available to senior citizens age 65 and older who are unable to walk or self-propel a manual wheelchair in their home or independent living quarters and who meet additional requirements.

Also available to the permanently disabled of any age. Free to those who qualify.

Wheels of Love: Medicare recipients may be eligible for a free power wheelchair or scooter if they suffer from certain conditions such as respiratory disorders, arthritis, or cardiovascular disease that limit their ability to use a standard wheelchair. Call 1-866-631-3028 for information.
