    The city of Monroe is celebrating the life and times of one of its most famous persons, George Armstrong Custer. The event takes on a somber note with a cemetery tour conducted by Dave Ingall, gesturing, assistant director of the Monroe County Historical Museum. Custer is not buried there, but other family members and city pioneers are.
