Boater safety classes will be offered by the Monroe County Sheriff s Office beginning in April. Five classes will be offered over five months. The classes are free, and no registration is required. Classes are offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Saturdays: April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, and Aug. 8. Participants must be at least 12 years old.
