Public gets to question candidates for Whiteford Twp. offices
10/12/2010OTTAWA LAKE - A public forum for Whiteford Township candidates seeking election to township offices will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 in St. Michael Lutheran Church, 5790 West Temperance Rd.
The supervisor candidates, Bernice Heidelberg and Walter Ruhl, and Pat Nidek and Angela Christensen, who are running for township clerk, have been asked to attend Meet the Candidate Night.
The public will have a chance to meet and hear the views of the office hopefuls at the event, which is sponsored by Whiteford Community Association.
Richard Gunn, retired Whiteford School principal, will be the moderator.
Candidates will introduce themselves and answer questions from Mr. Gunn.
If time permits, the audience may ask questions.
