Easter eggs fall from the sky over Temperance

    Many places have Easter egg hunts for youths, but Bedford Alliance Church on Jackman Road in Temperance gave that tradition a twist.

    Plastic eggs are dropped by a helicopter, adding to the thousands already on the ground.

    The church arranged for a helicopter to drop plastic eggs over the church grounds, where youths such as Austin Spohler, 6, of Petersburg, scrambled to collect some of the goodie-filled eggs.

    There also were door prizes, miniature train rides, and, as Bob Tessmer of Temperance and his granddaughter, Lacy Evans, 18 months, of Dundee, see, horses.
