Vensel named to governor's educator council

MONROE -- Monroe Board of Education President David Vensel has been appointed to the Governor's Council on Educator Effectiveness, which will report to the legislature, the state board of education, and the governor with recommendations for student growth and assessment programs evaluating teachers and administrators.
He was named by Sen. Randy Richardville (R., Monroe).
