Gardening class continues Oct. 20

TEMPERANCE -- The fourth class in the Bedford Flower and Garden Club's master gardener update classes will be at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at the Bedford Branch Library. It will focus on gardening misinformation that has come to be regarded as received wisdom through the years.

Paul Rodman will present the class, "Garden Myths, True or Not." He has gardened for 45 years and is an advanced master gardener and American Rose Society consulting rosarian. He is a past president of the Western Wayne County Gardener Association and the group's grants and scholarship chairman.

The course is good for two continuing education credits for master gardeners in Michigan and Ohio. The fee is $10 and due at the class. Reservations can be made by calling Jessie Green at 734-847-1054 or emailing her at jgr7070@aol.com. The class size is limited to 40.
