MONROE — The River Raisin National Battlefield Park will be host to a Children’s Craft Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday that will offer instruction on making crafts the way Frenchtown’s settlers did more than 200 years ago.

Children will select from crafts including tin punching, beading, corn-husk dollmaking, and gourd decorating. An instructor will lead them and explain the historical significance of the activity. The sessions run simultaneously and are limited to 12 children each.

Registration is required. For information and to register, call 734-243-7136.
